Just a quick post as I am studying extremely hard for a Chemistry exam. Please wish me luck!
Polish - Sinful Colors Green Ocean. Base color - Ulta Glam Goth Collection - Underground.
Underground is amazing on it's on, but it's fire (or shall I say water) underneath Green Ocean. This is my only polish from the SC flakies and I really like. Can't beat a great flakie for almost less than $2!
This is gorgeous, like a deep sea water! And gooooooood luck on your exam!ReplyDelete
love it!! ♥ReplyDelete
Dang. I have this same color and mine never looks that good. You're toooooo good.ReplyDelete

WOW, I really need to check out Sinful Colors. This flakie is AMAZING!ReplyDelete
Where do they sell Sinful Colors btw?
thanks so much for the well wishes. that exam super difficult but i managed to do okay. i think our instructors threw everything they had at us, lol.ReplyDelete
@Saucy, in my area they sale them at Walgreens but i've never seen Green Ocean at the store. they also sale them on their website but it's not there either. i'm gonna email them to see if its been discontinued.
@Nonailstoday, i'll swap with you so that i can have a back-up :) green ocean is AMAZING. i wore it for 5 days and that's a long time for me.
@Dollface, it really is :)
@Jennifer, i'm not really a chemistry person either. i can learn the subject but i don't have the desire to put the effort required into it. the problem with chemistry is that it's a huge time commitment, especially if you don't have a good working knowledge of the rules. every time i take the next highest level, i have to go back and learn the basic principles before i can learn the new material. i guess one could say i never really learned it at all ;)
Ayari/FiFi, i got it in a swap. SC polishes sale for $1.99 at Walgreens but they never have flakies in my area. but they do they sale them on their website. i believe "deep" red ocean is a glitter/flakie that is still up for sale on their website but i don't own it. the pics i've seen are very beautiful.
@RMCandlelight you have to try it. i would love to see how it looks on your long nails.
@LadyLash, I'm sure it looks great on you. Try it over a dark color, that way you'll get a good contrast. i believe these lighter flakies show better over dark colors.
thanks again everyone. i hope you all are having a great weekend. i'm studying again :(
This is a great combo!ReplyDelete
thanks Miss Blue :)ReplyDelete
i loooove this i just might go out and get a bottle right nowReplyDelete
Your post got me keeping an eye out for Green Ocean to add to my Sinful Colors arsenal...Woot! It made an appearance at Fred Meyers in a Sinful Colors St Patrick's Day display!! I never see this color, so I was thrilled!!!ReplyDelete
I had fallen out of love with glitter and flakies until seeing them on a dark base coat...I don't know why it hadn't occurred to me, but AMAZING!!
Do a tutorial on ittt!!!!!!!!!!! Plzzz!!! <3ReplyDelete
@Melissa woo hoo! Glad you found it :)ReplyDelete
@Emily. It's simply polish over a dark base. I didn't do any thing to the polish.
