3-D Nail Flowers

Yay! The sun is out today (happy dance) and I'm posting early in an attempt to get some sleep tonight. Lately, I haven't been able to get to sleep before 1a.m. Probably due to the 5-6 cups of coffee I have a day.

Today I'm wearing a super quick and easy pink on pink mani. Sometimes I forget how convenient nails stickers are, as they provide instant professional-looking results. For the pink french I used CG strawberry fields and SH Strong Blush as a base. I started to add rhinestones but after yesterday's fiasco I decided against it (ha, ha).

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well today. I had a great day at home with the kiddo's and we made door knob hangers. I promised my daughter a do-it-yourself jewelry craft set and I forgot to pick it up. So I made a quick stop at the Dollar Store and grabbed a hanger kit.

It's not bad for a buck. We worked on it together and it kept her quite for all of 30 minutes (ha ha). Aren't they cute.


I also had a chance to play with my polishes. I wanted to swatch LA Colors LIVE but I couldn't get a good pic due to the weather. It's a really cute polish that I use a lot for konading. It's only $1 at the Dollar Store and about $2 online. Here's a photo without a topcoat.


Then I tried to konad it but that was a complete disaster, lol. I made it worse by adding rhinestones and stripes. Here I used BM 21 and Konad white. I took it off immediately and slapped on Refresh-mint.

Excuse the crappy pic. The weather was just awful today with no sun whatsoever. I'm changing my mani in the morning and I'll post new pics tomorrow. Hope you ladies have a wonderful night.

Whoops. I almost forgot. For the green mani I used CG Refresh-mint and stamped in CG 2030. The images plates are konad M60 and M76.

Memorial Day Nails

Hello everyone. I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I was on family vacation last week and got a little behind. I know I'm super late but I wanted to post my Memorial Day mani. I was attempting to create the American Flag. It came out okay but not as crisp as I hoped for.

DD also wanted her nails done. I used one of the new StudioM's I found.

Guess what yall?. I finally found Massini/StudioM polishes. I went a little crazy once I got to Meijers and picked up most of the glitters, neons & a few crèmes.

I’ve wanted Slammin’ Red for awhile now and I rushed to try it out. It’s a thick, luscious one coater that’s full of glitter. It dried matte, leaving me a little disappointed, but I was able to bring it back to life with a top coat.

SR was difficult to photograph. In this pic it looks like a marbled kitchen counter top. I like the effect the camera put on it, but the top pic is more accurate. Unfortunately, my camera doesn't have enough pixels to capture the bling of this polish.

Girliest Nail Contest Entry

Today I entered my first nail art contest ever. It's being hosted by Emerald Sparkled and you can find it here . The contest is for the girliest nails ever. The nails I did are dedicated to Betty Boop. She is a cartoon character and the girliest girl I've ever seen. I hope you like it. If you do please vote for me :)
