NOTD: Betty Boop using Fab Ur Nails Image Plates

Good morning everyone! I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far. Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've been busy with rotations for school and had a presentation and project due on Friday that kept me busy all week long.

This week I received my image plates from Fab Ur Nails Shop but didn't get a chance to play with them until last night (excuse the pink around the cuticles, I didn't notice it until after the pics, lol). Anyways, I purchased all 4 plates from the set and decided to try out Betty Boop first. I started with a layer of Sally Hansen Mousseline then stamped Betty on top. I outlined Betty with acrylic paint and applied Revlon Slipper glitter to add some spark. The acrylic paint was pretty easy to work with and I recommend it for outlining images. I used a toothpick to apply.

I took this one last night. Boooo for getting dark at 5pm.

And that's my mani for today! Thanks for stopping by :)

~Mousseline was sent for review~

  1. Very nice, it doesn't look like a nail stamp ;)

  2. Thanks ladies.

@Bunny I think it's the glitter that makes it look un-stamped.

  3. Very girly! I love it!
Can I put you on my blog roll?

  4. I really like this! Ooooh I see that Revlon has another glitter like Blue Mosaic that slipped under my radar lol. I'm supposed to get those soon, glad to see that they stamp good :) Great mani!

  5. Thanks ladies.

@Zarina. Of course you can :)

@Marketta. I haven't tried this one alone. I'm not so sure how well it would build up.

  6. omg, i love betty boop, i must have this plate *.*

  7. Very neatly done! When I first saw the pics I thought Betty was a sticker. :)

    1. Katrina. I used Mousseline as a base color for the face. Then stamped and painted around the face with pink acrylic paint. So the base color served as the face color.

  9. Love Betty Boop! Going to have to order these from Ninja.
