China Glaze Road Trip 2015 Collection - Swatches and Review
Let's take a road trip baby!!!
Hey beauties. Today I'm sharing the road trip collection with you. The set consists of 12 cremes with 4 of them laced with hidden shimmer.
Here are quick swatches of each color. I grouped them together to compare and contrast differences and similarties. I started with the peaches and brights. From left to right: Wanderlust, Pack Lightly, More to Explore, and Pinking Out the Window,
Wanderlust - 3 coater lilac with hidden pink shimmer. Surprise favorte!
Pack Lightly - Light peach creme with hidden gold shimmer. Very cute and classic 3 coater.
More to Explore - Gorgeous peach 2 coater. I love this one!
Pinking out the Window - dusty but bright pink creme. Another suprise favortie!
The next 4 in the collection were my least favorites because I have polishes similar to them. From left to right: Sun's Up Top Down, Trip of a Lime Time, Pop the Trunk and I Brake for Colour.
Sun's Up Top Down - sunshine yellow creme with pink shimmer. Another 3 coater.
Trip of a Lime Time - baby food pea green creme. Two coater but too familiar.
Pop the Trunk - bright orange creme 2 coater.
I Brake for Colour - tomato red/coral 2 coater. This color is so similar to Pop the Trunk I almost mixed them up. It's really difficult to tell the difference.
Next are my absolute favorites from the collection!!! I'm in love with these blues! From left to right: My Way or the Highway, License & Registration PLS, Boho Blues and Dashboard Dreamer.
My Way or the Highway - dusty yet bright teal creme 2 coater.
License & Registration PLS - vibrant medium blue creme, 2 coats.
Boho Blues - periwinkle blue 2 coat stunner.
Dashboard Dreamer - baby blue with hidden pink shimmer 3 coater.
This is a gorgeous collection for the Spring.I'm in love with the blues and peaches in the collection. The red, orange, yellow and green were my least favorites because they are too familiar. The collection is all creme so there are probably several dupes out there but Boho Blues is definitely worth considering. Overall this set Screams Spring!
The polishes are available online now. I purchased this set from Transdesign.com. I haven't seen them in retail stores but I'm sure they'll arrive soon.

OPI Brazil Spring and Summer 2014 Collection - Swatches and Review
Hello everyone! Today I have the OPI Brazil Collection to share with you. Starting with quick swatches of the Brazil Sands. All of the polishes were 3 coaters, but the yellow (You're So Flippy Floppy) was surprisingly a 2 coater. They are pretty flat but the colors are still pretty. My favorite is the purple (Somebody Loves Purple).
I Just Can't Cope-acabana is a beautiful canary yellow creme, opaque in 3 coats. This was one of the stand outs in the collection for me.
Kiss Me I'm Brazilian. I love this one just for the name. A pretty girly pink for the Spring. Opaque in 2 coats. I like here :)
Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? Another pretty color for the spring. I used 3 coats but could have gotten away with 2. I also love this color, maybe not the most unique, but really pretty.
Toucan Do It if You Try. Two coat coral. I'm sorry but my camera is really changing the color here. Please see the video on this collection for better color accuracy.
Live Love Carnival. Similar to Toucan but I like it better. My camera is changing the color again but it's more of a hot coral, if that makes since. I know some are in love with this color but the 2 corals are my least favorite from the collection.
Toucan and Live Love Carnival side by side for comparison.
Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. I'm not sure how to describe this color it's light grey with a hint of pink/purple. Very pretty and I think this would look great on most skins tones. I used 3 coats.
Taupe-less Beach - Similar to Bossa but 3 to 4 shades darker. The formula was also slightly thicker and only needed 2 coats.
I Saa Paulo Over There. Another great creme that falls in line with Taupe-less Beach. I used 2 coats.
Next Stop...The Bikini Zone. Grey/violet shimmer finish. I needed 3 coats to make it opaque. In the bottle it almost looks duochrome but sadly it's not.
Amazon...Amazeoff. Gorgeous and absolutely my fave from the collection! This is the most unique to my stash. Be careful because it stains quickly, even when only swatching I got stains. I used 2 coats here. Teal creme with a pearlesque finish.
OPI Scores A Goal! Pretty but not very unique. Almost a dusty burgundy opaque with 2 coats.
Red Hot Rio. I'm not a fan of red but I really love this. So shiny and sheer it's almost a jelly. I used 2 coats and it has a lot of gloss going on without a top coat. Another fave from the collection.
The Brazil Collection is available now at retailers that carry OPI.

OPI The Amazing Spiderman Collection Swatches and Review
Hello lovelies! Today I have the OPI Spiderman Collection to share with you.
Into The Night. Bright blue shimmer that glows. I only used 2 coats here but probably could have stood for a 3rd. It still came out great with a smooth application.
My Boyfriend Scales Walls. At first look I thought it was white but it has grey undertones. A good alternative if you don't want to wear straight white which can look a little harsh. Two coats.
Call Me Gwen-Ever. Pretty coral-orange. I really love it against my skin tone. My camera makes it look a little dusty but its actually very vivid. I used 2 coats here.
Number One Nemesis. Gorgeous gunmetal green multicolored shimmer. This one is quite interesting and lovely on the nail. I used 3 coats here.
Shatter The Scales over Number One Nemesis. Shimmering green shatter with a hint of turquoise. This was quite pretty over the green glitter. The combination makes your nails spark in the sun. I used 1 coat over wet polish.
Your Web Or Mine? Bright pink frost. Pretty color but very frosty and I couldn't get rid of the lines. I used 2 coats here.
Just Spotted The Lizard. Golden green duochrome foil. I used 2 coats here. I couldn't quite get rid of the fine lines. Still pretty though and a good dupe for the Chanel.
I tried to capture the duochrome here. I actually prefer it more in the shade where the gold is not so obvious.
The collection is nice, although there are quite a few greens, they were my favorites in the collection. I'm not sure how the pink fits in. It doesn't appear to follow the theme of Spiderman. The green shatter was a surprise favorite. I know everyone is doing shatter now but the shimmer makes it more interesting and it looks great over another shimmer. Overall I like the collection, especially Number One Nemesis and Just Spotted The Lizard.
This limited edition promotion will be available beginning May 2012 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($9.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer.

Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors Spring 2012 - Swatches and Review
Kardashian Kolors for Spring 2012 are exclusive to CVS stores. The collection consists of 4 cremes and 3 shimmers in a broad range of colors from neutrals to brights.
“Nicole by OPI is very excited to bring new Kardashian Kolor lacquers exclusively to CVS for 2012. In collaborating with the Kardashian/Jenner family on the CVS exclusive shades, we came up with lacquers to represent each of their vibrant personalities and individual styles. The seven resulting colors offer the perfect accessory for spring’s bright colors, feminine frocks and reinvented neutrals.”
Paparazzi Don't Preach - super shiny ceramic doll pink. It's actually a lot darker than ceramic pink, more salmon, but the color reminds me of baby dolls. It's a very pretty neutral that you can wear anywhere. I used 3 coats to make it opaque.
Ladies In The Limelight - yellow creme with a hint of green. I saw this about a week ago in CVS and the green wasn't apparent in the bottle but it's obvious on the nail. I'm really feeling the lime here. It has a thin formula as most yellows do but it built up nicely. To my surprise I only needed 4 coats.
One Big Happy Fame-ily. Lilac base with light pink and baby blue shimmer that looks more silver on the nail. This is so pretty and great for Spring. I used 3 coats.
Back To Reality...TV. Periwinkle with pink/fuchsia shimmer. I used 3 coats here.
Strike A Pose. Dark coral that leans more red. It's a very bright creme but not neon at all. I had a difficult time capturing the true color. It looks more coral in the bottle and more red on. I used 2 coats but a third wouldn't hurt. I thought I saw streaks in person but they weren't obvious on camera.
Our Fuchsia's Lookin' Bright. Like the name says it's a bright fuschia creme. I really like the formula on this one because I only needed 1 coat. I used 2 to intensify the look. Very pretty.
Smile For The Glam-era. Dark plum with dark pink shimmer. This will probably sound strange but it's much prettier than I expected. I don't wear vamps as often but I love the look of this one. The formula was thicker than I expected so I only used 2 coats. I took several pictures to highlight the shimmer.
Outdoors
All of the polishes were photographed without a topcoat except Strike A Pose. Overall the formula was good and application was easy. Most of the colors needed 2-3 coats except the yellow which is pretty common. My favorites from the collection are Smile For The Glam-era, One Big Happy Fame-ily and Paparazzi Don't Preach. I also really like Ladies In The Limelight but I may have a similar color already. Overall, I believe the collection has a good variety and offers a little something for everyone.
