Halloween Mani 2 - Happy Pumpkin

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great week so far. I should have gotten this up sooner but I had to meet with my daughter's teacher to review her progress in class. It's been a loooong day for me but anyways here's my second Halloween mani.

This is very simple and easy to do. For base colors I used Revlon Tangerine and Essie Marshmallow. Both colors are lovely but I stopped counting coats at 5,
lol. I stamped with the happy pumpkin from Bundle Monster (BM224) then added Uninhibited on top of the orange. Uninhibited is very thick! I made the mistake of using full coverage on the pointer finger. For the others I dabbed the glitter on and you can actually see the orange underneath.

Have a great night and happy polishing!

Dry Marble - Take Two

Hello everyone. Hope you're having a great Saturday! I had a fun day of doing absolutely nothing. Hubby and I watched the move "Take Me Home Tonight" an 80's based romantic comedy. It was pretty funny and reminiscent of my college years of partying. I wish I could go back there again, lol.

I had a lot of free time today since I'm caught up on most of my school work (for a change) so I played with dry marbling again. Someone had asked about using cheap-y polishes so I tried them out for this marble. I did three different combinations but this one turned out the best. I think the foil polish really adds a little somethin' extra to it. I'm gonna save the other two and try them out later.

The colors I used are: Wet N Wild Bar-B (light pink), LA Colors Electrified (pink foil), Wet N Wild Jubilee (medium purple) and Arissa dark purple shimmer (no name).

I applied them the same was as in the marble tutorial. Yes, it does looks like a Laffy Taffy (ha ha).

Here's what they look like on a Ziploc bag. I tried to make them look similar to a water marble. I only used 1 and a half rows for a complete mani. I'm saving the others for next time.

We'll I hope you're having a fun night. I gotta go hang out with Hubby. Thanks for stopping by!

Nailene Nail Stickers & NOTD

A couple of weeks ago I picked up Nailene Stickers from the Dollar Tree in my area. The designs were simple yet intriguing enough for me to give them a try. Unfortunately they didn't stick very well and bubbled a lot. I only wore these for a few hours because I was so disappointed. The stickers did last about a day on my toes.

Silver foil - LIVE by LA Colors

I'm challenging myself to work through my untried stash, so I changed my mani to an unnamed fuchsia from LA Colors. It was available in the metallics 4-pack, I think. It's a vivid fuchsia with bright pink flecks, far from metallic, but still beautiful. I stamped over it with one of the new Bundle Monster plates, BM-205.

Sorry to make this a short post but I have to go now. My girls are fighting over broccoli and rice! Have a great night :)
