Lace and Flowers

I didn't get a chance to do a MJ mani, but here's one I did last week. I almost forgot about it until I saw Parokeets post.

For stamping I used image plate M57 with Fauxnad A01 Flowers. The polish is Carolyn New York Castle Hill.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend :)

Thank You and Blog Award!!!!

Hi ladies!!! I wanted to make a post to THANK YOU all for your support, sweet comments on my blog and voting for me last week. On Monday I found out I won Chez-Delaney's Halloween contest and I'm ecstatic to say the least. I still can't believe I won and I'm so happy and greatful everyone took the time out on the Holiday to vote for me. I know to some it's just an image plate but for me it's one of the best gifts I could receive. I feel honored to have been recognized by you all, new and experienced nail polish connoisseurs. Thanks again for your acknowledgment and support!!!

I also received a blog award from LOUCAS por KONAD. Isn't it adorable! Thanks for the tag!!!

And here's a sweet mani to match my sweet award.

Betsey Johnson Dress Challenge

Mornin'! Here are my entries for Polish Hoarder Disorder's Betsey Johnson dress challenge. We had to complete a manicure that reflected a dress from her collection. Of course I couldn't pick just one, so I choose two. Both are my style and I would wear them in a heartbeat. These are not your ordinary dresses so I made my nails extra dramatic to reflect that!

Products used: WnW Black, WnW White, Nail Stickers, China Glaze Fairy Dust

Products Used: Black Lace, Fauxnad C02, LA Colors Electrified (Pink)

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed what I came up with!

Analogous Design

Good morning Sunshines! I wanted to share my bright and sunny analogous manicure I did for Polish Hoarder Disorder's Challenge. If you haven't already check out her site. She has design challenges weekly, which are great if you can't come up with any ideas for your nails. They're also just for fun.

The challenge was to pick three colors that were next to each other on the nail wheel. The colors I choose were red, orange & orange yellow. The colors are a lot darker in real life. My camera couldn't capture the red correctly.

Products used:
Pinky - Konad M35 (butterflies)
Ring - Chez Delaney (butterfly)
Middle - Konad M35 (angel)
Index - Fauxnad M76 (rose)
Orange - Wet n' Wild Sunkist Paradise
Red sponging- Wet n' Wild Cherry Pop
Red stamping - Konad Red

I hope you enjoyed my bright nails. Have a great day!

Playboy Bunny Manicure

Today was a challenging day for my nails. I accidently chopped off part of one while slicing onions for a burger. I was trying to avoid adding another dish to what seems to be an endless pile. I know this was a silly thing to do but it was a small way of trying to keep the house clean. Don’t worry, I’ve learned my lesson and won’t try that again in the future.

I also broke a thumb nail today but I didn’t mind that so much since it tends to scratch my eye whenever I remove my contact lenses. So I guess that was for the best. To even things out, I filed down all of my nails. I’m not sure of the length I’ll maintain them at. I like the idea of having short nails so that I can take advantage of the full nail image plates. They also look sleek when there are no gaps or inconsistencies on the nail. I’ve been doing okay with doubling the stamp but it can be time consuming and not as pretty as shorter nails.

Here’s my naughty mani for today. I wanted to do something playful since it’s the weekend and time for some fun. I’ve also been obsessed with foil & minx manis and wanted something shiny. This is what I came up with and I hope you guys like it.

I received the Playboy bunny image plate as part of a fauxnad set purchased on ebay. I also used Konad plate M57 for the fishnet design and fauxnad Konad M44 plate for the French. I wasn't too happy with the left hand so I switched it up a little on the right. What do you think?

Fauxnad plate M79 - Playboy image

Konad plate M57 – fishnet

Konad plate M44 – double French

Silver - LA Colors LIVE (silver)

Black – CC Where’s the Soiree?

Pink – SH Strong Blush
