Here are a couple of looks I played around with over the weekend. I purchased this white Kracklepolish from Transdesign for about 3 bucks which isn't bad at all. I used a regular base & topcoat to fill in the cracks and then Poshe on top of that. The effect is different from shatter polish but I still like it. It reminds me more of real cracks you would see in cement. I know China Glaze is also coming out with a white crackle soon and I think it would look great over various colors
And here's a purple crack polish from BK. I believe this one is only available internationally. I received it from Thriszha in a swap, so I'm not sure where else you could find them. All I know is that I am in love with this color combination.
So what do you think about crack polish? I personally had to get used to the look but now I'm really liking it. I'll also be getting a few of the China Glaze crack polishes when they're released, especially Crushed Candy the gorgeous teal. Are you getting any?
I really, really like both of these color combinations and how well the crackle polish worked!
ReplyDeletethanks Freshie! both were pretty easy to apply but you can't put them on too thick or they'll never crack, lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the white and blue one! I haven't really gotten into the crackle craze, but I could see myself wearing that one. So pretty!
ReplyDelete@Nail Noir, the white crack would be great for the summer, especially over skittled nails.
ReplyDeleteI want the black and white.. I want to try the black over a tan color and see if I can get it to look leopard-y.
ReplyDeletei love the blue one :p
ReplyDeleteI love crackle polishes...I can't get enough of the them. I want more colors...(blow horn..."hurry china glaze I need more crackles") Lol!! Your pictures are gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteI have the same white krackle polish and I love the look. Cant wait till the China Glaze crakle collection comes out I want all of them :)
ReplyDeleteThe purple one looks so cool!!! haha I LOVED the tittle of the post!
ReplyDeleteI really love the crackle look, especially that purple color. I think a lot of cool things could be done with it. Maybe a crackle french tip!
ReplyDeleteYour title is great, :) Love the pink and purple! I just got some crackles for Christmas and haven't tried them yet! Waiting for a nail to heal!
ReplyDelete@JQ. what a fun Christmas gift! and very thoughtful from the person who gifted them. i hope your nail heels soon.
ReplyDelete@Kenzie, a crack French is a great idea. i'll have to remember to try it out.
@Ivonne, lol. i hope its not offensive.
@Shadow, i can't wait either. i'm really intrigued with the teal.
@RmCandlelight, i hear ya! i wonder if they'll have an effect similar to OPI or similar to TD look.
@Michelle, that combo sounds interesting. you could also freehand dots over the design if it didn't work out.
@Oreleona, thank you!
love the crackled effect.. haha cute title name btw! :) i have yet to try crackle polish... i really want to try it! :(

Great cracked colors. I might have to go pick these up.
ReplyDeleteI love the cracked effect!
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely be getting at least some of the ChG crackles; I like that they're coming out with a variety of colors. I like the look for a change of pace but Mr. Karen is not a fan--he says "it's not pretty" and it confuses him why I would want nails that aren't pretty.
ReplyDelete@Thanks so much ladies. I hope you all are having a fabulous day!!!
ReplyDelete@KarenD, lol. Mr. Karen is too funny =)
Love the combinations! I own a green crackle, it's fun to try out, but i can't make a lot of combinations with that green without looking stupid..
ReplyDeleteawww Sylvia, it seems like a green crack would be hard to match. maybe a white or yellow as a base would be pretty?
ReplyDeleteI really like this Kracklepolish from Transdesign in white, where did you purchase it? I really want it, lol, btw, your nails are beautiful, they're so perfect.
