Zoya Mod Matte Collection Swatches

Happy Earth Day! Today I have Zoya's Mod Mattes to share with you.

Mitzi. Frosted lime green, almost neon. Here she is in 4 coats.

A clear topcoat made her a deeper lime.

Lolly. Medium bright pink, almost fuschia. Opaque in 3 coats.

Clear topcoat applied.

Phoebe. Electric blue shimmer mattified. I love this one. Opaque in 3 coats.

Even prettier with a top coat.

The matte finish is an interesting twist from the norm, its like two personalities in one bottle. An added bonus is that they dry super fast. There is a learning curve to applying the polishes to achieve a smooth finish. The last coat must be thick and smoothed down with the brush until the strokes melt together. They are designed to wear without a base & topcoat, but a clear topcoat will give you a quick fresh look. I usually go for pinks, but Phoebe and Mitzi are my favorites from the collection.

And here's my mod mani to match the collection.

Konad M65

  9. Thanks ladies!!!

@Ines & Cs1993 I updated the post with their website.

@ABOP. Phoebe dried too quickly for stamping. I'll have to try it again though. For the blue stamping I used SH Brisk Blue Insta-Dri.

  10. Wow, you made these look amazing! But yikes, 3-4 coats? :( I love my Zoya Matte Velvets, but I don't think I can get on board with these ones :/ That Konad is amazing though.. it's killer.
