Hi everyone! My name is Kathy and I'm from the mighty midwest. I am a wife and mother to two lovely girls. My family keeps me busy, but in my spare time I love to explore all things beauty.
I grew up in a large family with 8 sisters and we all couldn't afford weekly trips to the hair and nail salon, so I had to learn on my own. As a do-it-your-selfer, I'm not afraid to learn and try new things.
I work in the medical industry but I love being artistic and expressing myself through art and beauty, which has become a means of detox and relaxation for me. I started blogging because of my love for nail polish which has introduced me into the world of beauty. For years I would ignore makeup ads and posts because I didn't want another beauty addiction. However, after years of resistance, I have finally succumbed and fallen for this creative outlet.
