Green Squiggly Mani

Before my nail polish addiction I didn't appreciate the beauty of the color green. And now it's hard not to look twice because there are so many pretty options around. "Check Me Out" for instance is such a happy and vibrant color. I wore this last week for Depression Awareness but I forgot to post. I'll definitely continue to wear it throughout the winter because it brightens my mood!

Halloween Marble

So I started school this week (sigh) and I'm already counting down to my next break. I had an unexpected quiz on Monday and it was a terrible way to start my first day back. Anyways, here's a Halloween mani that I hope brightens your day. I used Zoya Jancyn and Wet n Wild Blackmail.

Fall Nail Art Contest Entry

Mornin' sunshines! I wanted to share my entry for Konad Addicts Fall theme nail art contest. You can vote for your favorite here, but you must be a follower to vote. This is my second time participating in a nail art contest. I know I still have a lot to learn but I'm having a ball doing it!

My choice of colors are a bit unusual, but these are the colors that I liked the best together. (I couldn't stamp orange without it looking like neon, lol) I also included a pic of my first fall mani but it was a fail. You can see the neon effect in action.

I hope you enjoy the pics and have a great day!

Pink is Music to My Ears

Hi ladies. I hope you're having a great Wednesday! I have another pink mani to share that was inspired by a pair of press on nails I saw while shopping for Halloween stickers. I can't remember if they were pink, but I decided to go with it because its my favorite color and perfect for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I prefer to use inexpensive polishes for nail art, especially if I'm not sure I'll like the result. So for today I used WnW Flirty Rose Creme. It looks much better outside of the bottle and is the perfect bubble gum pink! I layered it over white to show its true color. Hope you like it!

Products used:
Wet N Wild - Flirty Rose Creme
Wet N Wild - French White (base)
Konad - Plate M73
Bundle Monster - Plate BM 21
Kiss - Silver Glitter Nail Art Paint
Essence - Nail Art Stickers

Foil Explosion !!!

Today I want to share a couple of different looks with you. I had extra time to play with my nails and I've been wanting to try out the rest of my foils. I know many of you find foils difficult to work with, so I tried out the non-metallic foils which are a lot easier to apply. All of the foils were purchased by me from Dollar Nail Art.

The first look is called White Marble. I used WnW white as a base to achieve this elegant look. Love, love, love!!!
Fifth Avenue is a blue/grey foil with a slight shimmer. I must admit I tried this one out because of the name.

Smokey silver is just that, hot and sizzling!!! It is a metallic foil but its not as bright as the holographic foils. There is no rainbow effect, which I like. I found it while looking for a non-holographic gold for my teacher. Well I didn't find a bland gold but I discovered this hot silver! Very minx like, don't you think?

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!!!

Black, White & Orange Mani

Are you guys tired of my Halloween mani's yet? We'll I took a break from the orange and tried neutral colors. Please forgive my dry hands. They tend to get really dry in the Fall and Winter. This is one of my newer image plates, M65. I can't believe I waited so long to try this one out. It's hard to tell in the photo but I also matted the polish.

Products used:
Grey base - China Glaze Millineum
White stamping - Konad
Black stamping - Where's the soiree?

I also had to try this one in orange (my break wasn't very long). I didn't have orange stamping polish, so I frankened it using Konad yellow and red GCOCL stamping polish. The GCOCL polish doesn't stamp as well as Konad, but it's great for mixing with Konad because its really thin. The results were nice and bright!

Until I polish again.......Thanks for stopping by!
